Intellectual property right violated

In the past, when I was still an uninitiated (clueless of how to respect others' works, especially professional works) novice user of online contents, I used to do this a lot because it was not so hard to download copyrighted materials then. But now, downloading copyrighted materials has become harder (at least for me), so I'm only able to do it with luck.

With the demand for professionalism in their line of work, it's hard to believe that RTVM has some uninitiated staff. This simple copyright violation brings shame to the concerned government agency.

             

Two sides of the same coin

.

Actually, these are two sides of the same coin. For how can you champion for human life when your way of doing it is trampling on the most basic of human rights which is the right to live? Aren't you being an oxymoronic hypocrite instead?!

            

On the SONA 2018

.

Indeed the speech came straight from the heart -- probably mostly from the heart of the team of speech writers and advisers.

If SONA speeches could spell clearly a nation's direction, then perhaps the president's SONA 2018 speech team would make for a better executive branch manager than Digong. 😏

But in fairness, by sticking to the script, this 2018 SONA played out as a far better SONA speech than the previous ones. (Except for the surprise drama in the lower house prior to the SONA proper which almost took the focus out of the main event.)

In the speech, some of what are of prime importance and what has been strongly promised, perhaps we can still handle enduring a bit more of suffering by putting back some measure of trust on these promises once more.

The fulfillment of SONA promises is a wait and see game. Therefore, pray [so] that the president's SONA 2018 would not end up as [another] failed promises.

          

Proposed transitory system

Mukhang ok ang kanilang pino-propose na transitory system. Patas lahat na posisyon -- everyone's term of office shall be cut short. Hindi lang exclusive na ma cut short ang termino ng kasalukuyang presidente kundi pati rin ang termino ng bisi-presidente, then later on down to the positions of all the appointed and elected officials when the new constitution will be in place.

Pero ang proposed new constitution mismo, sa ngayon, ay hindi pa natin masisiguro kung ok ba talaga o marami pang kailangan itama o iwasto.

Tulong po, mahal na Panginoon. Kasi...

To speak from the heart

To speak from the heart? Makulbaan man pud ta ani! Maminaw pa ba kaha ta sa SONA o dili na lang kaha? Andam-andam na lang ta ani sa kung unsay mahitabo. Taliwa niining kahimtang sa atong nasod nga murag gaka apeke, mas maayo unta kung makapadasig nga mga pulong ang atong madungog imbis nga ang naandan na nga makapa deskoraheng mga tinagawtaw.

[Luke 6:45] "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."

       

Mangutang lang sah tag dugang, haba?

Wow! Whew! Mura man og perti na jud kahangat niining mga utang sa atong nasod. Ok raba kaha ni nga pun-an pa jud natog pangutang og dako-dako? Pila naman kaha ang tibuok utang sa atong nasod karon? Aw basta kay gapasalig man gud kaha sila nga makaya pa gihapon ni nato? Basin ba og maperti na hinuon natong kalumusa sa buluhisan sa ugma damlag para ibayad sa interest lang wa pay labot ang capital.

Aw og kita pa pud tingale namunuan sa atong nasod ron, nganong magpaka lisod-lisod man pud tag pangitag pundo para sa yearly national budget nga sayon ra man ang mangutang? Total di bitaw mismo ang namunuan maoy mobayad, ang nasod man pinaagi sa pagpasaka sa mga buluhisan. Dili na lang gud nato tingale kabalak-an ang pohonay nga pagsamot unya sa pagmahal sa mga palaliton, pletehan, ug uban pa, nga maoy epekto sa pagpasaka sa mga buluhisan.

Kung mao naman gani ni ang sagubangonon nato sa ekonomiya sa atong nasod, aw sobra pas hugot bakos ang atong buhaton ani ron, mabugto na lang jud tingale ning atong mga bakos ani ron sa sobrang hinugtanay!

Ginhawa lag lawm, mga kababayan, samtang buhi pa. Unsaon nga murag gipahinaykan man gud pud nato ning kahimtanga. Agwantahay na lang jud ta ani... "matira ang matibay, ang way makaon mamatay".

Ampo na lang. Wa nay reklamohay. Pag hilom-hilom na lang kay medyo murag kulang sa hustong pagtagad ug pagbati sa atong kalisod ang mga maayong laki sa atong nahitungdang pamunuan. Ang ilang mga pamaagi, mura ba og igo lang sila nagpakasayon sa ilang mga tulubagon sa katawhang Pilipinhon.

            

Farming is a calling

Sa di kaayo halayong umaabot nga mga katuigan, aduna pa ba kaha o pipila na lang kaha sa mga bag-ong henerasyon ang dunay igong kadasig nga musunod pagbanos sa pagpanguma?

With its vast and rich natural resources, supposedly, the Philippines is richly blessed as an agricultural country. But why are most of our farmers poor? If the majority of our country's agriculture remain to be within [or even below] the level of subsistence farming, fewer and fewer people of the next generation would find interest in agriculture. (Not to mention the new generation's inborn pre-inclination to gadgets and urban living which makes farming a remote possibility in their choices of career or profession.)

Administration after administration, the government has since been desperately trying to impart to the next young generation the interest in agriculture, yet so far, nothing sustainable has been achieved. It would seem that perhaps the new and young generation considered farming and agriculture as an old-fashion lifestyle and not a trendy career or profession in today's high tech and gadget-dominated era.

Perhaps a time will come when only so few people will endeavor their lives into farming/agriculture such that they are so rare like missionaries.

Without sustainable good agriculture, a nation could eventually "die".
