Wag lang basta parinig...

"The fact that there are...Chinese vessels na mga militia, not even fishermen, anong ini-indicate no'n? Tapos sasabihin natin na hindi naman tayo puwedeng makipag-giyera sa China, isang missile lang, tapos na tayo. So kung ganu'n rin lang, pasakop na tayo, 'di ba?" Senator Panfilo Lacson said.

"If there's a bully in the neighborhood, tapos ipo-project mo 'yung weakness mo, lalo kang ibu-bully no'n. But...if you project yourself as you know tahimik ka lang and let him guess kung ano 'yung kaya mo, kung ano 'yung capability then at least may laban ka," he added.

Wag basta parinig lang, Senator Lacson (and those other Senators, leaders, and citizens who feel the same way). Sabihin ninyo mismo sa Presidente ng bansa natin! (Hindi pa lubosang huli ang lahat. Kung kikilos ngayon, maaagapan pa ang mangyayari sa bandang bukas na huli.)

This is the price that the Philippines is paying for having a leader who is taking a subservient attitude towards a self-pressumed ["personal"] ally country of him. Most Filipinos (even die-hard DDS) do not agree with what the Philippine leadership has been showing towards China's intrussive moves towards the Philippines, but because it is the President's stand, they are simply keeping silent about this very serious matter -- that is simply blind loyalty.

True supporters are not blind loyalists. They know that leaders are human beings like the rest of them, and are not perfect and sometimes commit mistakes in their decisions and actions. True supporters help their leaders by pointing out possible mistakes and finding the courage to convey sound suggestions, advices, or even constructive criticisms to their leaders. And true leaders are receptive and do not easily get upset or feel insulted of the citizens' inputs.

In terms of time frames relating to major national matters, three years is too short a time period. Duterte has only three years left to make sure that the fool proof safeguard measures are in place so that after he steps down from office, whatever agreements he had made with China will not put our country in a disastrously disadvantageous situations that would be extremely diificult to correct.

Three years from now, two things can happen. The Philippines will either thank Duterte for taking a subservient attitude towards China, or it will suffer a devastating regret for Digong's preferred [in]actions.

These days are days of great shaking!

The ground had shook initially, making fast its moves. But heaven has not left us helpless with no recourse. Behold there are in fact three that heaven provided! Seek them before time runs out. Find them and use them.
